The Maxwell, our flagship model, comes in many sizes and layouts from the 1-room studio to a 2-bedroom 2 bath model. The width can be easily adjusted, making the Maxwell line versatile. In addition to our standard sizes, the Maxwell can be individualized to meet your specific needs –so please contact us with your special projects. Our cabins are available in any stage of completion – from shells to complete building packages.

We are now pleased to offer Shell+PlusTM pricing on our Cabin Series models. The Shell+PlusTM  packages feature our same high-quality cabin designs with fully finished exterior walls and roof, all windows and doors, and stud-wall interiors ready for you to complete as you wish!  It's a great way to save money and customize your cabin just the way you like it. The Maxwell 16-20

The Maxwell 16-20 is sized at 16’x20’, 320sf, and is our most popular Cabin. It’s a great size for backyard installations making this a fine office, exercise pavilion, or guest room. The Maxwell 16-20 is flexible; it can accommodate a corner bath (either half or full), a fully functional kitchen, and a closet. When outfitted with a bathroom, a closet, and a kitchen, the Maxwell 16-20 makes a comfortable, livable studio efficiency. The Maxwell is robust with a strong, elegant design, perfectly suited for both country and urban environments.

The Maxwell 16-28 Weekender

Our Maxwell 16-28 WEEKENDER features our compact bath and kitchen with room for a separate bedroom and large closet. The full-length windows flood the interior with light. The accent windows in the bedroom anchor the bed with a headboard effect. We call it the Weekender, however, at 448 square feet this cabin will make an excellent small home for those with an interest in “small-footprint-living”. For all its big features, the weekender is still compact, making it an ideal backyard apartment.

The Maxwell 16-36 LiveAboard

The 16'x36' 1-bedroom Liveaboard... the name comes from a nautical expression to describe a space designed for full-time living; it’s appropriate here. This cabin has the space and features of a full-size home. The open-plan living area/kitchen is well lit from the 8‘ tall glass doors and windows. The “L” shaped kitchen accommodates full-size appliances and has a full-height pantry for storage. The spacious private bath can have either a  shower or a tub. The bedroom's corner windows add a dramatic architectural point of interest as well as light and ventilation.

The Maxwell 16-42 2-Bedroom/1-Bathroom Cabin

The Maxwell 16-42, a 2-bedroom/1 bath cabin, is sized at 16'x42'. It shares the same kitchen layout and façade windows as the Liveaboard. In this model, the bathroom is in the rear corner. The 16-42 packs loads of open space into a compact footprint. We do this by using every bit of space available – no hallways or wasted nooks. With our larger cabins, we can individualize the interior partitions as well as the door and window locations.

The Maxwell 16-50 2-Bedroom/2-Bathroom Cabin

The Maxwell 16-50 is our largest production model. This cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is sized at 16'x50', 800sf. The façade features a symmetrical window and door rhythm with an expanse of glass providing great natural light. The corner windows in each bedroom add a dramatic architectural element while providing light, ventilation, and views.  The kitchen has a full-height pantry for loads of usable storage. The spacious master bath can have either a generous shower or a tub.
