The Maxwell is our original and still most popular style.

This is not your grandfather’s cabin. You won’t find any logs used in this Cabin; you will however, find exposed curved roof beams supporting the 2" x 6" tongue-and-groove roof deck. This strong, attractive feature is the ceiling, the roof deck and insulation all in one elegant package. The Maxwell presents a distinctive look in any environment, a backyard or country property.

Another change is our updated façade with a sophisticated new look and more windows. This isn’t just about good looks; now it’s easier to build in earthquake, hurricane and heavy snow areas. Good looking …and smart.

We make the Maxwell / Morris cabins in many different sizes, the smallest being 12 feet deep x 16 feet wide.

Maxwell / Morris is most often 16 feet deep; (MM-16) however, we can increase this if needed.

It’s the width that can easily adjust, making this line versatile.

MM-16-35 is so dry … we prefer Georgette; she is our smallest Cabin-Home. The large open-plan kitchen / living area is a generous 15 x 23 - that’s why we call it a “home”. She has a full width kitchen and an island seating 3 (4 in a pinch), large closets and a washer dryer niche. These amenities make Georgette a comfortable place to call home.
